A group of mysterious golden bats will fly to the nearby of Beigang in every 3rd month of the Lunar Calender. That's before the Matsu's birthday. It seems the golden bats married, and breed here. In 1960,there were over 1,000 individuals had found near the old house. But they are less than fifty bats remained now.
